Well, ok maybe not that quiet but it'll make it a little quieter..

So, here are few things I do to make my stock car quiet while on the track. Assuming that your gears are in good condition and the mesh are perfect.

Part 1:
YES SIR! Bushing oil or even bearing oil will help make those stock motor quieter and coasts smoother on and off power. I don't have any favorite product. I just use whatever I have with me. On the pic, I have this EPIC bushing lube.

Apply a drop on the pinion gear side of the motor.

Do the same for the motor endbell side. Make sure to give a drop or even less than that. Don't go crazy with the lube on this side of the motor as it may drip on the commutator and can cause gunk that'll make your car sluggish. If this happens, clean out the motor with motor cleaner spray or electrical cleaner that's safe on plastic.

Part 2:

I know there's a lot of us that still have this king pin oil by kyosho which is so darn expensive btw but anyhow, I think I've only used mine for about 5 drops on my MR02 days and I also tried it for my MR03 and no, I stopped using it after first run. They cause binding/stiction after few battery packs when used on the kingpin/knuckles. I don't want to put this $11 lube to waste. So, I started using it on my gears. It works as if there's a wet lube on the gear to make it quiet but this one is DRY and there's no resistance like wet lube.

BAAAAM!!! My 2 years old, $11 kyosho dry lube that's still full.

This is just like filling up a tank of gas on a real car. hehe... No, not really. Don't go squirting the lube on your pinion gear. Just a drop or two should be fine. Then let it dry. Usually takes about 30 secs or so to dry.

You can apply this on your spur but I prefer to do it when the spur gear is by itself. This way it wont drip inside the differential assembly. I just lube my pinion maybe once a week but I also clean it every battery pack with my paint brush. No it doesn't collect dust or RCP/Tire gunk on the spur or pinion gear. I just clean it anyhow.

Other thing to keep in mind is to make sure that your rear motor mount bearings are in good condition and properly lubed. Sometimes, the noise comes from the bearings as well.

There you have it! Stealth mode...
